A conversion course is for operators who want to use more than one type of MEWP. We can train and carry out conversion courses on all MEWP types.

What do you need to consider when buying a MEWP for your business?

Height: How high do you need to reach?
Outreach: How far do you need to consider?
Load Capacity: How much weight do you need to lift and load rating?
Working environment: Some MEWPs are 4×4 and can operate well on rougher terrain. It is important that you consider the impact of the terrain that the MEWP will have to work on.
Platform Rotation: What is best to manoeuvre the platform at height in your work environment.
Turning Radius: Operating a MEWP in a confined area.
Platform Height: Common-sense, will the MEWP fit in the area you are working within.
Platform Weight: What is the working platform area like? Can it support the weight and loading of the MEWP?
Training: All operators must be competently trained.
